- [A social hospitality from the Nalanda college junior Prefects’ Guild](https://nccustudios.com/a-social-hospitality-from-the-nalanda-college-junior-prefects-guild/): The Junior Prefects' Guild of Nalanda College organized a social project on the 27th of February to support the Kandegedara Junior School in Dewalegama in need. The Junior Prefects' Guild was able to develop their infrastructure facilities by building them a new dancing room for the usage of teachers and students. They refurbished the entire school by repainting the school buildings and repairing the damaged classrooms. To develop the school and students and help them brighten up their future, Junior Prefects' Guild also donated stationeries, sports equipment, sound systems, et cetera. Overall the Guild was able to contribute more than Rs. 300,000 for the development of this school. A ceremony was organized on that day appreciating the contributions made by the Junior Prefects' Guild, with the participation of Mr. Ajith Wickrama, the Deputy Principal of Nalanda College as the chief guest.

Captain of the senior prefects' team Amiru Wijesingha won the toss and elected to bat first. Senior team was all out for 79 runs and junior team was successful enough to conquer the target within 10 overs loosing only a one wicket. Highest scorer of the inning Thinura Randina was awarded as both man of the match and best batsman.

- [Nalandians Roars Again at the International Field](https://nccustudios.com/nalandians-roars-again-at-the-international-field/): Sri Lanka U19 national cricket team was able to win the ODI series against the Under 19 team of England in 3-2 matches. Present Nalanda 1st XI captain Raveen De silva his teammate Vinuja Ranpul performed well in this series. In the 4th ODI, Raveen De silva captained the match and was able to become the winning captain and he was able to score a half-century plus 3 wickets for 6 runs. As a reward for Raveen De Silva's trendy performance, he was awarded the man of the match of the 4th ODI.

- [ලෝක ළමා දිනය සැමරූ නාලන්දීයන්](https://nccustudios.com/%e0%b6%bd%e0%b7%9d%e0%b6%9a-%e0%b7%85%e0%b6%b8%e0%b7%8f-%e0%b6%af%e0%b7%92%e0%b6%b1%e0%b6%ba-%e0%b7%83%e0%b7%90%e0%b6%b8%e0%b6%bb%e0%b7%96-%e0%b6%b1%e0%b7%8f%e0%b6%bd%e0%b6%b1%e0%b7%8a%e0%b6%af/): අනාගතයේ ලක් දෙරණ භාර ගන්නට සිටිනා, පිපෙන්නට වෙර දරන මල් කැකුලු වන් අපේම දරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් සෑම වර්ෂයකම ඔක්තෝබර් මස පලමු වැනිදා ලෝක ළමා දිනය බවට ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කර ඇති බව ඔබ අප සැවොම දන්නා කරුණකි. සෑම වර්ෂයකම පාහේ මෙවරත් ලෝක ළමා දිනය අති උත්කර්ෂවත් ලෙස කොළඹ නාලන්දා විද්‍යාලයේදී සමරනු ලැබිනි. මෙවර ඔක්තෝබර් මස පලමු වැනිදා පොහොය දිනයක් ලෙස යෙදී තිබුනු බැවින් එම සැමරීම සැප්තැම්බර් මස 30 වැනිදා අති උත්කර්ෂවත් ලෙස සිදු විය. එහි සමාරම්භක උත්සවය වශයෙන් විද්‍යාලයීය මලලසේකර රගහලේදී 2 ශ්‍රේණිය සහ 6 ශ්‍රේණිය දරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් වැඩසටහනක් පැවත්විනි. එහිදී ප්‍රවීණ රංගන ශිල්පී රොඩ්නි වර්ණකුලසූරිය මහතා විසින් හාස්‍යෝත්පාදක වැඩසටහනක් සිසුන් වෙනුවෙන් ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලදී. එය කාගේත් සිත් ගන්න සුලු වැඩසටහනක් බවට පත් විය. ඉන් අනතුරුව 9 සහ 10 ශ්‍රේණිය දරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් මැජික් සංදර්ශනයක් ද මලලසේකර රඟහලේදී පැවැත්විණි. ඉන් පසුව 11 ශ්‍රේණිය සිසුන් වෙනුවෙන් වීදි නාට්‍යයක් රඟ දැක්වුනු අතර සිසුන් ඒ කරා එක් රොක් වූයේ ඉතාමත් ප්‍රීතියෙනි. එමෙන්ම උසස් පෙළ කලා හා වාණිජ අංශයේ සිසුන් වෙනුවෙන් සංගීතමය වැඩසටහනක් ද ශ්‍රවනාගාරයේදී පැවත්විනි. උසස් පෙළ විද්‍යා ගණිත අංශයෙහි සිසුන් වෙනුවෙන් සිසුන්ගේ කලා කෞශල්‍යයන් ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම සදහා වැඩසටහනක් සංවිධානය කර තිබූ අතර ඒ සදහා ද සිසුන් බොහෝ ප්‍රමාණයක් සහභාගී විය. ඉන් අනතුරුව නාලන්දා විද්‍යාලයීය ජනසන්නිවේදන ඒකකය මගින් ගෙන ආ DJ සංගීතමය වැඩසටහනද කාගේත් සිත් ගත් වැඩසටහනක් බවට පත් විය. පසුව ඔක්තෝබර් 2වන දින ද නාලන්දා විද්‍යාලයේ 1 ශ්‍රේණියේ සහ 2 ශ්‍රේණියේ අපේම පුංචි මල්ලිලා වෙනුවෙන් ලෝක ළමා දින සැමරුම සිදු කෙරුනා. ඒ අනුව පෙර වර්ෂයන් සේම මෙම වර්ෂයේදීත් ලෝක ළමා දිනය අති උත්කර්ෂවත් අයුරින් නාලන්දා විද්‍යාලය තුලදී පැවත්විනි.

(සා.පෙළ) ඉතිහාසය විෂය යනු සංකීර්ණ විෂයක් වන බව අප සැවොම දන්නා කරුණකි. එවන් වූ විෂය ධාරාවක් ඉතා සරල ලෙස වටහාගන්නේද ඉතා සුලු පිරිසකි. මේ වන විට එවන් වූ බැරෑරුම් විෂය පද්ධතියක් උදෙසා ඉතා අගනා කෘතියක් නාලන්දා විද්‍යාලයීය සිසුවෙකු රචනා කර අද (21) දින එලිදැක්වීම සිදු විය. මේ වන විට නාලන්දා විද්‍යාලයේ ගණිත අංශයේ අධ්‍යාපනය ලබන ප්‍රවීන් මනුප්‍රිය සිසුවා විසින් මෙම කෘතිය නිමවා ඇති අතර නාලන්දා විද්‍යාලයීය ගරු විදුහල්පති තිලක් වත්තුහේවා මැතිතුමන්ගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් අද දිනයේදී මෙම කෘතිය එතුමන් අතට පත් වීම සිදු විය. අ.පො.ස.(සා.පෙළ.) ඉතිහාසය විභාග ප්‍රශ්න පත්‍රය ඉලක්ක ගත කොට නිමවා ඇති මෙය ඉතා අගනා කෘතියක් ලෙස හදුන්වා දිය හැකිය. දැනුම ප්‍රකාශන කෘතියක් ලෙස කල එළි බසින මෙය මේ වන විට කොළඹ ජාත්‍යන්තර පොත් ප්‍රදර්ශන පරිශ්‍රයේදී හා නාලන්දා විද්‍යාලයීය පොත්හලේදී ඉතා අඩු මුදලකට ලබා ගැනීමට අවකාශය සලසා ඇත.

- [නාලන්දා විද්‍යාලයීය ජනසන්නිවේදන ඒකකයේ නව නිලධාරී මණ්ඩලය පත්වීම .](https://nccustudios.com/%e0%b6%b1%e0%b7%8f%e0%b6%bd%e0%b6%b1%e0%b7%8a%e0%b6%af%e0%b7%8f-%e0%b7%80%e0%b7%92%e0%b6%af%e0%b7%8a%e0%b6%ba%e0%b7%8f%e0%b6%bd%e0%b6%ba%e0%b7%93%e0%b6%ba-%e0%b6%a2%e0%b6%b1%e0%b7%83%e0%b6%b1/): නාලන්දා විද්‍යාලයීය ජනසන්නිවේදන ඒකකයේ වාර්ෂික සභා රැස්වීම සහ 2019/2020 වර්ෂ සඳහා නව නිලධාරි මණ්ඩලයට නිල ලාංඡන පැලඳ වීම පසුගිය නොවැම්බර් මස 29 වන දින විද්‍යාලයීය භාෂා කේන්ද්‍රයේදී පැවත්විය. නිල ලාංඡන පැළඳවීමට ප්‍රධාන ආරාධිත අමුත්තා වශයෙන් නාලන්දා විද්‍යාලයේ ගරු විදුහල්පති තිලක් වත්තුහේවා මැතිතුමන් සහභාගී විය.මේ සඳහා සංගමය භාර ආචාර්ය වරුන්ද, ආදී නාලන්දීය ජනසන්නිවේදන ඒකකයේ සාමාජිකයන්ද, දෙමාපියන් ද, සංගමයේ සාමාජිකයන් ද සහභාගී විය. මෙහිදී ප්‍රධාන වශයෙන් 2018/2019 වර්ෂයේ ජනසන්නිවේදන ඒකකයේ නිලධාරී මඩුල්ල විසින් විදුහල්පතිතුමන්ට සහ සංගමය භාර ආචාර්ය වරුන්ටද සමරු තිළිණ ප්‍රධානය කල අතර එම වසර තුල ඔවුන් සිදු කල ව්‍යාපෘති වල එකතුව සහ ඔවුන් වසරක් ආ ගමන් මග පිළිබඳව කෙටි මතකාවර්ජනයක් කල අතර ඉන් පසුව 2019/2020 වර්ෂයේ නිලධාරි මඩුල්ලට නිල ලාංඡන පැලඳ වීම ගරු විදුහල්පතිතුමන් සුරතින් සිදුවිය. එකොළොස් දෙනෙකුගෙන් සමන්විත මෙවර නිලධාරි මඩුල්ලේ සභාපති වශයෙන් අකිල අරම්පත් සොයුරාද, සම ලේකම්වරුන් ලෙස සෙනරු දිල්රුක් , පුර්ණ ෂෙහාන් යන සොහොයුරන්ද භාණ්ඩාගාරික කෙහාන් හංසජ සොයුරාද , උප සභාපති මහින් මලවීර සොයුරාද ,ප්‍රධාන සංවිධායක සජිත් පෙරේරා සොයුරාද , සංවිධායකවරුන් ලෙස හර්ෂණ ජයසිංහ, ලසන් විතන ආරච්චි යන සොයුරන්ද, ප්‍රධාන සංවිධායක ලෙස කුෂාන් කල්හාර සොයුරාද, සම්බන්ධිකාරකවරුන් ලෙස නදිජ පෙරේරා,විනුක නානායක්කාර යන නිලධාරීන් නිල ලාංඡන පැලඳ විය. ඉන් අනතුරුව නව නිලධාරීන් මණ්ඩලය විසින් කිරීමට බලාපොරොත්තු වන ව්‍යාපෘති යෝජනාවලිය ඉදිරිපත් කල අතර තිස් වසරකට අධික ප්‍රෞඪ ඉතිහාසයකට උරුමකම් කියන නාලන්දා විද්‍යාලයීය ජනසන්නිවේදන ඒකකය සන්නිවේදන ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ මහඟු විප්ලවයක් කිරීමේ අපේක්ෂාව පෙරදැරිව නව වසරට පා තැබීමට සුදානම් වෙයි.
